The Yunnan Army has arrived at Swaton and is making preparations for campaigɛ against Fukien.
The Cantonese have defeated some of General's Ling's forces at Loychom and captured a large quantity of ammunition. The transport Po Man conveying Lung's troops captured by cruisers of Independant Navy near Kiang Chow. 19 vessels in all have now been taken.
Three gunboats opened fire on the Military Governors Yamen yesterday at 4 a.m. Firing ceased at 8 a.m. Subsequently proved to be a manoeuvre of Sun Yat Sen to oust the Kwangai party. No fire was returned. Gunboats afterwards fled.
Canton troops raided a robber's den near Shek Tan station on the Centon-Kowloon Railway on Deo.31st. 71 were arrested. 69 were found guilty and were shot,
6 more boats conveying Lung's troops captured by Independant Navy.
Lung's troops captured Loychow after several days fighting.
Dr.Sun's presence in Canton being undesireable after his recent manoeuvre, he has decided to go with the Expeditionary Force to Fukien.
Three cruisers left Amoy for Kiangehow, Hainan on the 3rd instant presumably to assist in landing Lung's troops in Kwangtung • Cruisers of Independant Navy have been ordered to intercept them.
The three cruisers which left for Kiangchow to assist Lung have returned to Amoy.
15/1/18. A Land Mine Corps is being organised to go to
Fukion. The Torpedo dept has been ordered to prepare 20 land mines.
